Gucci will bring its fashion authority and 102-year legacy of Italian craftsmanship to JD.com, creating a digital flagship store on the Chinese ecommerce platform. The online store will include a full range of Gucci brand services, including access to Gucci’s online client advisor service.
With the launch of its new online environment, Gucci plans to offer elevated shopping experiences tailored to the tastes of JD.com’s customer base as well as further explore China’s unique digital landscape using both brands’ respective technological strength.
To celebrate the upcoming Chinese Valentine’s Day on Aug. 22, 2023, the Gucci flagship store will offer a selection of gifts showcasing the brand’s craftsmanship and romantic aesthetic. Featuring floral motifs symbolizing the blossoming of love, the collection will offer a purse designed exclusively for JD.com customers. Shoppers also will be able to share heartfelt sentiments with personalized e-card greetings.
