7-Eleven has upgraded its mobile app with simplified login and registration, a centralized deals and rewards area for 7Rewards loyalty members and improved in-app shopping and delivery experiences via 7NOW Delivery.
“The heart of our digital connection with the customer is through the 7-Eleven app — it’s a key driver that allows us to give our customers the convenience they want anytime, anywhere,” said Yaqub Baiani, VP of Product Management at 7-Eleven in a statement. “We’re focused on making our customers’ shopping experience easier, quicker and more personalized, both in and out of our stores.”
Key features of the redesigned app, available for both iOS and Android devices, include:
- New discovery experiences, including quick access to fuel loyalty, car wash experiences and more;
- Onboarding and homepage improvements with an intuitive user interface that makes navigation smoother;
- Improved in-app shopping that allows customers to browse a vast catalog of items and make their selection with just a few taps; and
- A new design aesthetic and animations covering more than 500 screens across the app.
“It was paramount that we focused our efforts toward simplifying the core technical components of the customer experience in the app — including purchasing, payment and rewards,” said Ranga Mohan, VP of Engineering at 7-Eleven in a statement.
7-Eleven has increasingly been branding its offerings to consumers. The retailer launched its 7Collection site, where shoppers can purchase apparel, mugs and memorabilia, in August 2022, and in March 2023 7-Eleven launched 7Charge, a proprietary electric vehicle (EV) charging network.
