Ebay Hits the Road to Promote New Handbag Consignment Service in LA, Las Vegas

Ebay is taking its handbag consignment service on the road.

Ebay is promoting its new handbag consignment service, which debuted in September, with a “Luxe Line” mobile consignment concierge that will be making stops in LA and Las Vegas from Dec. 13-16.

With the aim of showing consumers how easy it is to sell their handbags on Ebay, the mobile tour also will feature a selection of items from top luxury sellers on Ebay, including the exclusive opportunity to shop a collection of handbags from the personal closet of fashion designer Jenna Lyons, Founder of LoveSeen and former President of J.Crew.

Additional items from Lyons’ collection also will be available on Ebay.com, with 100% of the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.

Here are the details on where the Luxe Line will be stopping on its tour:

Dec. 13: 1525 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in LA from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dec. 13: Brentwood Country Mart at 225 26th St. in Santa Monica, Calif. from 2 – 5 p.m.
Dec. 14: 209 Larchmont Blvd. in LA from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dec. 14: 8493 Melrose Ave. in LA from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Dec. 16: 1980 Festival Plaza Dr. in Las Vegas from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
