GoodwillFinds Adds Returns Capability to Better Compete with Other Resale Platforms

GoodwillFinds — the online ecommerce platform of the 120-year-old nonprofit Goodwill — has teamed up with return assurance platform Seel to better “compete with other digital resale websites” by offering returns.

GoodwillFinds customers can now purchase return assurance for any item, spanning every category on the site — from clothing and shoes to luxury and vintage items to electronics and housewares. The return assurance allows them to make a seamless, hassle-free return within seven days. There is no return authorization process; customers notify Seel they would like to make a return, wait for a confirmation email with the shipping label, and pack and ship their item for a full refund.

The partnership aims to enhance the customer experience on GoodwillFinds.com, which launched in October 2022. Just like its parent company, GoodwillFinds operates as a nonprofit, and every purchase funds Goodwill’s slate of social service programs, including professional skills development, job training programs, youth mentorship and more.

“We are constantly looking for ways to make shopping on GoodwillFinds.com more convenient for those who recognize the power of shopping with purpose,” said Jim Davis, Chief Revenue Officer of GoodwillFinds in a statement. “The new return capability allows us to provide every shopper with a better experience and the peace of mind that you are taken care of if your purchase isn’t quite what you were expecting or doesn’t fit in the way you hoped.”
