Spirit Halloween Begins Hiring 40K Workers as it Readies Record Number of Seasonal Stores

Spirit Halloween is planning to hire 40,000 workers this season.

Spirit Halloween is planning to open 1,500 temporary locations this fall across the U.S. and Canada — the most ever in the company’s 40-year history — and has begun the process of hiring the thousands of employees it will need to run them.

The 40,000 associate and store manager positions now available also represent Spirit Halloween’s largest seasonal workforce ever. Employees will benefit from flexible scheduling, a premium pay incentive program and a 30% employee discount all season long. Returning store managers are also eligible for seasonal retention bonuses.

“This will be Spirit’s 40th season of bringing the mystique of Halloween to life, and that starts each year with the hiring of our talented and enthusiastic associates and store managers,” said Steven Silverstein, CEO of Spirit Halloween in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming back returning team members and introducing new employees to the Spirit Halloween family as we get ready for a truly unforgettable season.”
